Why Rehostly
I started Rehostly because hosting your own place shouldn't mean handing a big slice of every booking to a platform, or giving up the guests who already love coming back.
I've been a host for over ten years, and I'm a software engineer on Vancouver Island. Year after year I wanted the same things other hosts kept telling me they wanted: a proper site of my own, payments that just work, and fees that don't feel like a penalty for doing well.
So that's what Rehostly is: a booking site that looks like your place, deposits and balances that take care of themselves, and a low fee only when you're booked. It's built and run here in Canada, and it's built for hosts, not for marketing teams or investors.
